专访上海诺美学校《白蛇传》舞台总负责人蔡同学

  天公应景,绵雨诉情,悱恻动人的《白蛇传》在上海诺美学校的大剧院倾情上演。这部由著名剧作家Mary Zimmerman融合中西方戏剧文化,重新编写的中国传统故事舞台剧,从上海诺美学校学生们独特的角度去呈现。

  The prince of heaven, the rain love, soft and touching "legend of the white snake" in the NAIS grand theater. Mary Zimmerman, a famous playwright, will present the stage play of traditional Chinese stories from the unique perspective of NAIS students.

  一幕落下,掌声雷动。三个月来的辛苦排练,反反复复的剧本磨合,都是奠定演出成功的基石,观众的微笑与掌声,是对学生们的最佳赞许。

  When the scene fell, applause broke out. Three months of hard rehearsals and repeated run-in of the script are the cornerstone of the success of the performance. The audience's smile and applause are the best praise for the students.

  俗话说,台上一分钟,台下十年功。在了解这出戏剧背后的故事时,我们采访了舞台总负责蔡同学,通过他的讲述,我们更加切身体会到学生与学生,老师与学生之间为这出戏剧的完美演出,作出的努力。

  当被问及舞台负责人的主要工作时,舞台总负责人蔡同学说:

  “其实主要是四个部分,最主要的是沟通交流,协调不同部门;其次是时间安排,排时间表,我们有三个月的准备时间,我们需要去思考和协调如何在有限的时间里,完成场景设计、素材剪辑、道具制作、布景搭建、训练彩排等工作。第三个部分叫做记录,就是把演出前后需要准备一切物件,演员动作和台词变化等等全部记录下来。最后一个就是正式演出时的统筹,其实我们学校变通性很强,给予了我们非常大的发挥空间和自主权,我作为舞台统筹,在正式演出时,就是一个革命砖,哪里需要哪里搬,有演员没来的话,我可能还得上场充当一下演员(笑)。”

  工作内容非常繁杂,而戏剧节的准备能够如此有条不紊地进行,也是要得劳于负责人高效合理的统筹安排,以及同学们积极主动的团结协作。

  When asked about the main work of the stage manager, CAI said, "actually, there are four parts. The main part is communication and coordination between different departments. We have three months to prepare. We need to think about and coordinate how to complete scene design, material editing, prop production, set construction, training and rehearsal, etc. The third part is called recording, which is to record all the things needed before and after the performance, the actors' movements and the changes of their lines and so on. The last one is a formal performance as a whole, flexibility in our school is very strong, actually gives us very big display space and autonomy, I, as the stage as a whole, the formal performance, is a revolutionary brick, where need to move, have the actor didn't come, I might have to play as the actors (laughs)." The work content is very multifarious, and the preparation of the drama festival can be carried out in such an orderly way, but also requires the efficient and reasonable overall arrangement of the person in charge, as well as the students' active unity and cooperation.

  的确,在一个集体活动中,除了明确的分工之外,团队合作也是推动进展的重要途径。蔡同学和我们分享:

  “其实不管是哪一次戏剧的制作,没有一次是一个部门或者几个人单独完成的,这永远是一个需要协调的过程。所以说不管是演员和制作两个截然不同的部分,还是制作部门内部,都有大量的协调工作。在任务分配的第一步,最重要的就是明确责任,每个人要知道自己该做什么,确保没有哪个环节是遗漏的。其次就是在真正实施的过程中,我们所有人需要集体为这个活动负责,共同协作,互相帮助。比如说,做声音和音效的同学,在完成自己本职工作之后需要去帮助做舞台布景的同学......所以说戏剧的完整呈现是一个独立且融合的过程。”

  Indeed, in a collective activity, in addition to a clear division of labor, teamwork is also an important way to promote progress. CAI Shared with us, "actually, no matter which drama is produced, no one department or several people finish it alone. It is always a process that needs coordination. So there's a lot of coordination going on between the actors and the production, as well as within the production department. In the first step of assigning tasks, the most important thing is to clarify the responsibility. Everyone should know what to do and make sure that nothing is missing. The second is that in the actual implementation process, all of us need to collectively take responsibility for this activity, work together and help each other. For example, students who do sound and sound effects need to help make stage sets after completing their own jobs... So the full presentation of drama is an independent and integrated process."

  说到分工,就像之前的戏剧节,诺美戏剧课在正式上课之前,老师都会让学生们自由选择,进入到戏剧的六个部门中,由有经验的学长带领,在某一个领域上更深入地去接触、去挖掘、去实践,培养学生对戏剧的个性化认知。

  When it comes to the division of labor, like last week's drama festival mentioned in the article, the drama class before the formal class, the teacher can let students have the freedom to choose, into the drama of the six departments, led by an experienced senior, in one area in more depth to contact, to dig, to practice, raises the student individual cognition of drama.

  中国传统元素和西方艺术风格的结合是本次戏剧演出的亮点之一。《白蛇传》作为非常经典的民间故事,曾被改编成各种版本艺术作品,每个版本都有其独特的魅力。诺美学校的这场演出从西方戏剧的角度出发,将更多的细节,通过一种非常现实、直白的方式去呈现,把故事嵌入到贴近日常的层面上,立体具象地去表达复杂情感。

  The combination of traditional Chinese elements and western artistic styles was one of the highlights of the performance. As a very classic folk tale, the tale of the white snake has been adapted into various versions of works of art, each of which has its own unique charm. From the point of view of western drama, the performance of NAIS school presents more details in a very realistic and straightforward way, embedding the story into the level close to daily life, and expressing complex emotions in a three-dimensional and concrete way.

  对于这一次新颖的戏剧表演形式,舞台负责人蔡同学认为此次跨越中西文化的戏剧演出是一项极具创新的意识的。“在忠于中国原创作品的基础上,融入了西方思维。全英文台词也依据中文诗歌进行意译,在表演方式上,《白蛇传》本身有几幕类似京剧的表演形式,我们融合了西方的戏剧表演精髓,比如音乐、声效、灯光等等,用现代化的表演理念,赋予整个故事以生命力。”

  As for this new form of drama performance, CAI jihong, the stage leader, thinks that this drama performance across Chinese and western cultures is a very innovative consciousness. "On the basis of loyalty to original Chinese works, it is integrated with western thinking. In terms of performance, the legend of the white snake itself has several ACTS similar to Peking Opera. We integrate the essence of western drama performance, such as music, sound effect, lighting and so on, and use modern performance philosophy to bring the whole story to life."

  这一次演出也是学生们的一次大胆尝试,老师并不会干预很多,学生是这次戏剧节的主导者。

  准备过程中涉及到非常多实操性、创新性的内容,比如背景板绘制、舞台布景、灯光变换等等,不过这些都在日常的戏剧课中有过实践锻炼。“戏剧课并不是单纯通过刻板讲述教科书来进行,而是更偏向于实践课程,在实践过程中摸索出自己应该或者需要做的事情。通过试错、实验去检验自己。”

  任何课程的学习不能只依靠课本,实践往往是能让知识更深刻地留在脑中,也能引导学生自主思考,积极探索,找到适合自己的点。

  This performance is also a bold attempt of the students, the teacher will not interfere much, the students are the leader of the drama festival. The preparation process involves a lot of practical and innovative contents, such as background board drawing, stage setting, lighting transformation and so on, but these have been practiced in daily drama classes. "The drama course is not simply conducted through the rigid narration of textbooks, but is more inclined to the practical course, in which students find out what they should or need to do. Test yourself by trial and error." The study of any course cannot only rely on the textbook, practice often can make the knowledge stay in the mind more deeply, also can guide the students to think independently, actively explore, find their own point.

  诺美戏剧课从其本质来说,并不单单教授学生关于戏剧文化的知识和理念,更多的是锻炼学生主动学习和探索的能力,培养批判性思维能力,在实践和反思中学会自我肯定和调整。中西有机融合的教育理念,给予学生个性化发展空间,提升求知欲望和实践能力,塑造敢于和世界对话,拥有国际视野和中华文化精英人才!
