The Boarding team held the National Dental Care Day in order to further improve the students' health level and protect their teeth in Shanghai Lucton School. The dentist came to our school to give a lecture on dental care. During the lecture, the doctor showed carefully prepared photos, easy-to-understand language, patiently and meticulously talked about the main methods of preventing tooth decay and periodontal disease, and used the model on-site practice to show the students the correct way to brush their teeth. In a pleasant atmosphere, the students listened to the insights and learned why they should protect their teeth and how to better protect their teeth and other oral health knowledge. During the oral screening, the doctor checked the students on by one, inform the students of the existing oral problems and provide them with the knowledge of tooth care. After the oral screening, most of the students were found to have large or small oral problems. In addition, our school will give free tooth cleaning coupons to the whole school students. We hope everyone will find oral diseases early and treat them promptly.
In order to better convey health knowledge to students and improve their self-protection awareness and ability, the school nurse produced the “Shanghai Lucton School Health Calendar”. Each school year, we will hold various health knowledge activities on a regular basis. The transfer of this combined knowledge in daily life and activities, students can more independently respond to future study abroad life!
Activity notice: The eyes are the windows of the soul, so each of us needs to protect our eyes. The Boarding team will hold the “World Sight Day” activity in November, so stay tuned.
