This week's flag-raising ceremony was once again hosted by Grade 12. The hosts were Michael Cui and Tony Mu. The speakers were Jame Jia and Eric Jiang. Seeing that this will be the final flag-raising ceremony hosted by the Grade 12s, everyone felt its special significance, and it was particularly heart-warming.
After the solemn flag-raising ceremony, Jame Jia was the first to speak. He expressed the wish that everyone would cherish their dreams and have the courage to realize them. Life in Grade 12 has made them laugh and cry. They have faced struggles and have often felt confused. In times like this it is necessary for each student to stand strong in the face of many difficulties. At the same time, students must make their dreams come true, and keep fighting, to be able to enter the university of their choice. After they have graduated, even though they will be scattered, Jame Jia firmly believes that the bonds of friendship forged in these years will ensure that they will find time to reunite one day in the future.
Eric Jiang was the next to speak. His point was that with the passing of time, he had gradually changed from an ignorant child to a global student. This achievement was because of the numerous opportunities provided by the school. He also encouraged students to make the most of their youth, to enjoy their lives on this campus life, and prepare for the application to some of the world's top universities!
