昆山加拿大国际学校顺利召开国际文凭小学项目研讨会

  为了支持我们的老师更好地实施国际文凭小学项目(PYP),昆山加拿大国际学校于11月16日和17日举办了两次国际文凭小学项目研讨会。来自我们低年级的50名教师接受了培训,并将获得IB培训证书。为了领导这两个学习活动,我们很高兴地迎来了来自中国东莞的Jodie Wood老师和来自印度尼西亚雅加达的Early Hapsari老师。她们都接受过IB组织的培训,可以开展此类研讨会,她们也是IB教育者网络中的一员。

  To support our teachers as they begin their implementation journey for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (PYP), CISK hosted two International Baccalaureate PYP workshops on November 16 and 17. Fifty teachers from our Lower School were trained and will receive IB training certificates. To lead these two learning events we were delighted to welcome Jodie Wood from Dongguan, China and Early Hapsari from Jakarta, Indonesia. They are both trained by the IB to deliver workshops and are part of the IB Educators Network.

  Jodie Wood是一名来自英国的教师,她在中国生活了七年。她目前是东莞伊顿学校的二年级教师和小学项目协调员。Jodie拥有广泛的PYP教学经验,曾在意大利,苏丹和赞比亚等许多国家教授PYP。

  Jodie Wood is originally a UK teacher and has been living in China for seven years. She is currently a year two teacher and PYP coordinator at Eton House, Dongguan. Jodie has a wide range of PYP teaching experience having taught the PYP in many countries including Italy, Sudan and Zambia.

  Early Hapsari是一位经验丰富的幼儿教师,在印度尼西亚生活和工作,担任Sekolah Victory Plus的PYP协调员。她是IB亚太区的面对面研讨会负责人和在线研讨会推动者。Early也是印度尼西亚IB学校网络的秘书,同时还是印度尼西亚PYP协调员资源的贡献者。

  Early Hapsari is an experienced Early Years teacher living and working in Indonesia as the PYP Coordinator of Sekolah Victory Plus. She is a face-to-face workshop leader and online workshop facilitator for IB Asia Pacific. Early is also the Indonesia IB Schools’ network secretary and a contributor to the PYP coordinators resource for Indonesia.

  1至5年级的教师们参加了Jodie的研讨会,主题为《在课堂上实践小学项目(PYP)》,这一主题是以老师们目前对小学项目的规划过程与理念的知识储备和理解为基础的。通过阅读和讨论当前的教学法和研究,研讨会的氛围使得我们的教师真正做到了终身学习。他们对国际思维和学习者品质有了更深入的了解,并扩展了他们的计划、教学和评估技能,以继续发展我们学校的PYP质询探究项目。

  Teachers and specialists from grade 1 to 5 attended Jodie’s workshop Making the PYP happen in the classroom building on their current knowledge and understanding of the planning process and philosophy of the PYP. The workshop environment supported our teachers as lifelong learners through the reading and discussion of current pedagogy and research. They developed a deeper understanding of international-mindedness and the learner profile and extended their planning, teaching and assessment skills to continue the development of our school’s PYP programme of inquiry.

  幼儿园的教师们参加了Early的研讨会,主题是《在早期教育的课堂上实践小学项目(PYP)》,发展他们对小学项目基本要素的个人知识储备和理解,创造一个寓教于乐的环境。本次研讨会通过理论和实践学习活动吸引了我们的老师,让他们有机会通过游戏和探索来反思和计划有目的的激发灵感的方式。

  Nursery and Kindergarten teachers and specialists attended Early’s workshop Making the PYP happen in the classroom in the early years developing their personal knowledge and understanding of the essential elements of the PYP and creating a play-rich environment. This workshop engaged our teachers through theoretical and practical learning activities giving them the opportunity to reflect on and plan for purposeful and stimulating inquiries through play and exploration.

  These two days of professional development, which combined theory and practice, served as inspiration and aspiration for the development of our PYP.
